As a retired Adjutant General Officer, Brigade Commander, and now a Director of Human Resources, I was very impressed by the Tactics for Success Modules. As I reviewed the materials, I could not help but think how valuable this training would be to a young soldier, officer, or a new employee in a corporate setting. Each Module continues to build on the previous, starting with the first module where the individual looks inside of themselves to be truly self-aware and how their life is defined using the 5 domains: Personal, Family, Career, Spiritual, and Community. I feel this simple process is the most important factor as someone enters a new position or career and is often overlooked. The second and third modules take that same approach with leadership, building on this premise of knowing oneself, identifying weaknesses and gaps, and how to influence and gain trust. The format and modules are easy to understand and developed to grow with the individual as they mature and assume new positions of leadership.
I was so impressed with the program I shared it with my son, a young specialist serving in the Army. While he was reluctant at first, I told him to be honest and complete the module, which he did. He has discussed the training with me several times and has become excited about the possibilities and what his future holds. He has now begun working on the second module, and we have already begun having conversations about influence and accountability.
Respectfully,

I wish I'd have had a tool like this 30 years ago. These tools are useful for setting goals, even at the most junior levels. I like the modular design of the program because you can give it at various times.
